Non-profit Solar One seeks a driven Operations Analyst for Here Comes Solar, its solar technical assistance program that expands access to the benefits of solar to low-income renters, multifamily cooperatives, and affordable housing in New York. We make solar more accessible and affordable by: providing technical assistance to affordable housing and community organizations so they can develop cost-effective solar projects; organizing buildings into solar purchasing groups; securing zero-down financing for solar projects; and assisting renters to enroll in local community solar projects. To date, Here Comes Solar has facilitated more than 750 successful solar installations, and we are growing our team to increase our impact in 2022 and beyond!

The Operations Analyst will be an integral member of the Here Comes Solar team, working with colleagues to improve the tools and processes Solar One uses to provide solar technical assistance. The Analyst’s work will improve operational efficiency by equipping the team with better tools and eliminating/automating redundant tasks. Improved operations will empower the team to bring affordable solar power to more people than ever before while positioning Here Comes Solar for long-term growth. The Analyst will report to the Director, Here Comes Solar and will work closely with staff across the Affordable Solar, Community Solar, and Resilient Solar sub-programs. The Operations Analyst will have ample opportunity for professional growth and learning in this role.
