SCCC, the largest community college in the State University of New York (SUNY) system, is comprised of three campuses and two downtown centers situated across Suffolk County. For over 60 years, SCCC has played a foundational role on Long island by providing residents with opportunities for workforce training and higher education, as well as being a community center. Our goal is to develop solar training programs on our Michael J. Grant Campus that educate students throughout Suffolk County and support the workforce requirements of this critical industry on Long Island. Students will have the opportunity to learn the latest in solar technology from industry experts, receive hands-on training, and shadow current solar installers.
