Solar Networking for Building Professionals

Is your business positioned to profit from NYC's clean energy investment? This is a free event for general contractors, architects, electrical contractors, landlords, other building professionals to build your knowledge about solar energy and to develop partnerships with leading solar companies, so that you can grow your business while delivering clean energy solutions to your clients and buildings across NYC.

Solar panels are an increasingly common feature of New York City buildings. This trend is accelerating due to rising energy prices and policies like the NYC Climate Mobilization Act, which cap building carbon emissions and require solar or green roofs on all new construction and major renovation projects. In addition, the HPD Solar Where Feasible Mandate requires solar on Affordable Housing when it's economically feasible. These policies, along with general increasing demand from clients, make it important for GC’s and other building professionals to understand and incorporate solar into projects.

Are you a Solar Contractor? Build partnerships with general contractors and other building professionals to help grow your business. Workforce trainees/job seekers are also invited to join the networking portion of the event, providing an opportunity to source qualified candidates for open positions at your company.
