Brooklyn SolarWorks is looking for a dynamic Brand Ambassador.
Generate leads and appointments while engaging in door-to-door canvassing, with an expectation of 50 new potential customers per month.
Understand and educate homeowners about all the benefits of going solar.
Become familiar with BSW’s brand and mission, and be able to relay them to customers.
Provide outreach at in-person events by working a tent and table and flagging down potential customers and generating brand awareness.
Accurately keep records of customer interactions in BSW databases.
Attend weekly team meetings and trainings in-person in Gowanus, Brooklyn.
Keep up to date on developments in the NYC and NY State solar market, and update sales pitch accordingly.
High School Diploma required.
Six months canvassing experience preferred.
Strong customer service skills.
Good computer/technology skills. (Google Docs and email)
Experience with lead tracking software. (Spotio or similar)
CRM experience. (salesforce or QuickBase)
Strong interpersonal skills, build relationships and network.
A positive attitude and ability to keep moving forward.
Required to walk, climb stairs, and stand for long periods of time.
