NYSERDA is pleased to announce the release of a Request for Proposals (RFP) on behalf of Bronx Pro Group, a developer, owner and manager of affordable housing in New York City. This RFP is for solar Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services for approximately 1.3 Megawatts-DC of Solar PV across 55 buildings Northern Manhattan and the Bronx.

Bronx Pro is seeking one solar company that will provide competitive pricing, high quality equipment and workmanship, and expert, reliable customer service for the design and installation of the solar energy systems.

In order to facilitate a robust RFP process, Bronx Pro's non-profit partner Solar One has prepared an RFP with site details for each of the 55 buildings. Site details are presented both in individual PDF format, as well as in an excel format to allow for sorting and filtering (tab 2 of the Pricing and Equipment form). Site photos are available for every site.

A Webinar for applicants will be held July 21, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. ET, RSVP by emailing Kate@solar1.org by July 20, 5:00 p.m. ET. Completed proposals must be submitted via email by Friday, August 12, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. ET.

Please note:

• All regulated multifamily affordable housing building that are eligible for the Multifamily Affordable Housing Incentive are eligible to receive $2/Watt for CDG and $1.60/Watt for net-metered projects. This includes the buildings in the Bronx Pro Portfolio.

• In addition to deploying cost-effective solar electric systems, Bronx Pro and Solar One are committed to workforce development in the community. Proposals from qualified respondents that include the greatest solar generating capacity, are cost-competitive, and include a solar jobs strategy will be preferred.
