Solstice was originally founded in 2014 as a nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to solar for underserved populations. In 2016, Solstice spun off a software company to provide customer management services for community solar. Since then, Solstice has expanded to deliver community solar acquisition and management services to developers across the country, with a majority of its footprint in New York.
