Towards the end of Summer at Topgolf Holtsville, we brought together NYSEIA members, partners, and some of Long Island's most important clean energy leaders for an evening of golf, good conversation, and real momentum.

Our speakers — Suffolk County Executive Ed Romaine, LIPA CEO Carrie Meek Gallagher, and Assemblywoman Michaelle Solages — didn't just show up. They showed us that the work we're doing in solar and storage isn't theoretical; it's about lowering bills, strengthening our grid, and making sure working families see the benefits first.

What struck us most was the alignment across speakers and companies. Whether it was Romaine on permitting reform, Gallagher on LIPA's industrial solar push, or Solages on expanding access to the communities that need cost relief most, all our speakers were rowing in the same direction. And that direction is toward distributed solar and storage as a centerpiece of Long Island's energy future.

Thanks to everyone who made it out, played hard, and stayed for happy hour. If you missed it, you missed something good. If you're not yet part of this community of members shaping Long Island's energy future, now's the time to join."
