Join Sustainable CUNY, New York Solar Energy Industries Association (NYSEIA), and hundreds of clean energy professionals from the public and private sectors for a full day conference focusing on the policies, programs and solutions needed for NYC’s rapid and equitable decarbonization.
As NYC reduces its reliance on fossil fuels, electricity consumption will rise dramatically. Scaling up distributed solar + storage deployment will be key to ensuring that this transition is affordable, and also presents a once-in-a-generation economic opportunity for New York’s workers, entrepreneurs, and businesses.
How will New York reduce its reliance on fossil fuels while incorporating building electrification, large-scale renewables, transmission, distributed solar, and energy storage? The pathway is still being defined, but one thing we know is that it will run squarely through New York City.
