On September 12th, 2025, NYSEIA submitted comments on NYPA's updated Renewables Draft Strategic Plan.

The comments encourage NYPA to play an additive role to the distributed solar and storage market, and collaborate with the industry to advocate for reforms for affordability. NYSEIA encourages the Authority to use its position to enable projects that face structural barriers, and proactively advocate for reforms on issues shared with the private sector.
