On January 22, 2024, New York Solar Energy Industries Association (NYSEIA) and the Coalition for Community Solar Access (CCSA) gave a joint presentation about the industry's 2024 community solar billing & crediting priorities at the NYSERDA/DPS-convened Billing & Crediting Working Group with industry and the utilities. NYSEIA and CCSA made the point that utility software and systems needed to provide timely and accurate solar credits are pieces of critical infrastructure for New York's clean energy transition. NYSEIA and CCSA utlined key industry priorities, including:

• Timely and accurate crediting for solar customers

• Net crediting improvements and expansion

• Software modernization

• Community solar host reporting enhancements
